Pocket Watch & Wristwatch Repair in Denton, TX
Small work is a separate discipline. We service American railroad-grade pocket watches, Swiss lever movements and vintage automatics on dedicated benches.
What this service includes
- Full service: disassembly, cleaning, lubrication, timing
- Balance staff, hairspring and jewel replacement
- Crown, stem and crystal fitting
- Case cleaning and light polishing on request
- Timegrapher report before return
What to expect
We start with an inspection — on the bench, or in your home for anything too tall to move safely. You get a written estimate that separates labor from parts, and we call you before doing anything outside it.
Once approved, the movement is disassembled, cleaned ultrasonically, worn pivot holes are bushed, pivots are polished, and the movement is reassembled and lubricated only where lubrication belongs. It then runs on test for one to two weeks and is regulated before it goes home.
Typical timeline
Small adjustments are often handled the same week. A full pocket watch & wristwatch repair job usually takes two to four weeks, most of which is test running. Rush scheduling is sometimes possible — ask when you call.

Questions we hear about pocket watch & wristwatch repair
How much does clock repair cost?
Most work is quoted after inspection because the movement, not the case, determines the labor. A cleaning and oiling on a simple time-only movement is the low end; a triple-chime grandfather movement needing bushings sits considerably higher. You get a written estimate before we begin and a phone call before any additional work.
Do you make house calls?
Yes. Grandfather and other tall-case clocks are usually serviced in the home or collected by us. We cover Denton, Denton County and surrounding North Texas communities.
How long does a repair take?
Two to four weeks is typical for a full overhaul, because the movement runs on test for one to two weeks after reassembly before it is regulated and released. Small adjustments are often same-week.
